Kothagudem: Superintendent of Police Sunil Dutt directed the traffic police to conduct awareness about the new traffic regulations and enhanced penalty amounts to people in the district. Speaking at a crime review meeting held with officials of the police department in Kothagudem on Tuesday, the SP called for geo-tagging of all Ganesh pandals in the district, and directed the police to conduct meetings with organising committees for conducting the festival in a peaceful manner.

Directing the officials to clear all pending cases in various police station limits, the SP added that he would conduct a meeting with Ganesh Utsav committees and give all necessary precautions to them. Suggesting the police officials to focus on cybercrimes, the official informed that special drives would be conducted to nab the drunk drivers. "Clear the police station premises and participate in the Haritha Haram programme," directed the SP.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Rajesh Chandra, Deputy Superintendents of Police Ali, Madhusudhan Rao and Sai Baba, Armed Reserve DSP Kumar Swamy and other officers attended the meeting.
