Suryapet: Choose candidates, who solve problems
Suryapet: Rythu Bandhu Samithi State president Palla Rajeshwar Reddy suggested the people to elect such candidates, who would bring their issues to the notice of the State government and solve them, as the elected representatives instead of those, who only make huge and cry.
Speaking at a TRS preparatory meeting for Warangal-Nalgonda-Khammam Graduate MLC elections at a private function hall at Arvapally in the district on Wednesday, Rajeshwar Reddy said that the situation in several Assembly constituencies
like Thungathrthy was completely changed after the formation of separate Telangana State due to the measures taken up by the government.
Reminding that Thungathurthy Assembly constituency was known as politically destructive about 30 years ago and the people of this area were denied irrigation facility until the formation of Telangana State, he pointed out that the farmers of Thungathurthy constituency are now getting irrigation water through SRSP canal for two crops. Now all irrigation tanks are full of water and peaceful atmosphere is prevailing in the constituency, he added.
Rajeshwar Reddy asked the graduates to vote in the MLC elections after thinking about the changes in socio-economic conditions of the people due to the welfare schemes taken up by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. Stating that investment support scheme like Rythu Bandhu is being implemented in Telangana State only in the country, he added that the State government has been supplying seeds and fertilisers to farmers in-time in addition to ensuring 24-hour free electricity to agricultural pump sets. The government has also filled up 1.26 lakh vacant jobs in the last six years, Rajeshwar Reddy added.
Thungathurthy MLA Gadari Kishore said Chief Minister KCR has made Telangana State to top in the country in development and welfare within a span of six years. The TRS activists should explain to the graduates about various welfare schemes and development projects of the TRS government and strive to bring victory to the TRS-supported candidates in Graduate MLC elections. Zilla Parishad Chairperson Gujja Deepika Youngender Rao and several local bodies elected representatives participated in the meeting.
