Suryapet collector Amoy Kumar transferred to Rangareddy

Suryapet district collector D Amoy Kumar transferred to Rangareddy district. An order to this effect was issued on Monday by the Chief Secretary of the state.

While, the collector of Yadradri-Bhongir district Anitha Ramachandran has been posted as the collector of Suryapet with the immediate effect. D Amoy Kumar was appointed as the district collector of Suryapet on December 28, 2018.

The collector has been transferred after the voter dispute of Congress MP KVP Ramachandra Rao. Rao who was given a chance to vote as ex-officio member has been denied later which ensued to the dispute.

However, the Congress leaders approached the Election Commission over the issue which have a chance to Rao to vote and directed the state government to take action against the collector Amoy Kumar.
