Suryapet: Officials told to speed up land purification works

Suryapet: District Collector Amoy Kumar ordered the officials concerned to complete the pending land purification works immediately. On Monday, along with Joint Collector Sanjeeva Reddy, he participated in a review meeting held at the Collectorate on status of land purification works in the district. 

Speaking on the occasion, he advised the officials to pay special attention on Resurvey Settlement Register (RSR) works lest face the music. He directed the officials to examine the applications thoroughly and take necessary action within the time schedule.

The Collector reviewed the land issues mandal-wise during the meeting. District Revenue Officer Chandariah, Revenue Divisional Officer Mohan Rao, Survey department Assistant Director Surender and Tahsildars of various mandals attended the meeting.

Meanwhile, the Collector also ordered the officials to take necessary steps to address the issues of people whose applications were received during Prajavaani programme.
