Suryapet: Peoples contribution called for transforming villages
Huzurnagar (Suryapet): Huzurnagar MLA Shanampudi Saidi Reddy stated that it was the duty of everyone to develop their native villages. On Monday, he laid the foundation stone for laying of CC roads with an estimated cost of Rs 9 lakh and also inaugurated a veterinary hospital at Lingagiri village of Huzurnagar Mandal.
Speaking on the occasion, Saidi Reddy said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has paid special attention to the development of villages in all aspects and as part of it, laying of roads and construction of drains have been taken up in villages. The legislator called upon villagers to take an active part in developing their villages.
Later, the MLA toured Garidepally Mandal and inaugurated IKP paddy purchasing centre besides inspecting Gurukul school in Gaddipally village of the Mandal.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the TRS government has been providing financial aid to farmers under Rythu Bandhu scheme and rescuing the families of farmers by paying Rs 5 lakh insurance amount within 10 days of the farmer's death.
He directed the officials concerned to purchase paddy in huge quantities through IKP center and added that all facilities would be provided to the farmers till they sell their produce.
During his visit to Gurukul hostel in Gaddipally village, Saidi Reddy interacted with the students and enquired about the facilities and the quality of food. He directed the warden to quality meals according to the menu and also promised to address the issues the school was facing.
