Karimnagar24: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) district president Ambati Joji Reddy on Wednesday demanded Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to suspend Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy for the irregularities that took place in Intermediate results.

Speaking at a press meet at the party office in Karimnagar, Joji Reddy alleged that several irregularities took place in EAMCET earlier when Jagadish was the Education Minister and the CM did not take any action against him. With such type of useless Ministers in the cabinet, same thing will be repeated again and again. It is the mistake of the CM and the TRS government to continue Jagadish Reddy as the Education Minister, he observed.

Even though as many as 17 inter students committed suicide till date owing to the mistakes committed by the officials, the Chief Minister didn't even give a statement on the students' death to console the parents of the deceased, let alone order a probe into the alleged irregularities. KCR is more interested in making leaders of other parties to join his party and never bothered about public issues, he criticised.

Joji questioned the TRS leaders as to why they are silent on this issue, which claimed lives of several students. Why KCR is not taking action against the persons, who are involved in the scam? Doesn't he had responsibility as a Chief Minister of the State? he questioned.

The TDP leader demanded the CM to order an enquiry with a sitting judge of High Court to find out the culprits along with paying Rs 1 crore ex gratia each to the kin of deceased students and to sanction government job to one their family members.

Party leaders K Agaiah, A Venkataiah, A Kamalakar, D Sathyam, Ravinder, B Karunakar Reddy, N Bala Goud, S Rajesham, Haigreva Chary, Nisar Ahmed, V Srinivas Reddy, L Bhaskar Sharma, Pushpa and A Kanthaiah were present along with others.
