Rajeev Nagar: Swachh Colony submits plea for encroachment-free footpath

Rajeev Nagar: The Rajeev Nagar Colony president, Krishna Sharma, Secretary Badriuddin and Shekar Reddy submitted a memorandum to Circle 19 Deputy Commissioner Ramesh seeking permanent solution to footpath encroachments by fruit vendors.

They said there's a lot of traffic disruption and untidiness in the encroached areas causing inconvenience to commuters and residents. Earlier, the issue was taken to the notice of SR Nagar Police and Town Planning officials. It may be recalled that the colony has been recognised as Swachh Colony twice.
