Swearing in of Choutuppal municipal chief, councillors held
Choutuppal (Yadadri-Bhongir): Energy Minster G Jagadish Reddy stated that people of erstwhile Nalgonda district who suffered faction kind disturbances were now leading normal lives after the TRS government took charge. On Wednesday, the Minister took part in the oath-taking ceremony of Municipal Chairman Raju held in Choutuppal.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said people of the State supported TRS in every election and the pink party had set a new record in the country by giving the best performance in every election held in the State.
He advised the local representatives to render valuable services to the people as responsible leaders and suggested the Municipal Chairman and councilors to focus on improving the cleanliness and increasing the greenery in their municipality limits.
Stating that he would make surprise visits to all municipalities in erstwhile Nalgonda district, Jagadish Reddy said that he would suspend the councillors if they neglect sanitation issues in their respective wards.
MLC Karne Prabhakar, Munugodu former MLA K Prabhakar Reddy, former MP Boora Narsaiah Goud, MPP Taduri Venkat Reddy, local TRS leaders, workers and locals attended the ceremony. Later, the Minister also took part in the oath-taking function of Mothkur municipal council members in Yadadri-Bhongir district.
