Tanzanian woman arrested for running a brothel in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Special Operation Team (SOT) of Malkajgiri conducted raids along with local police on an alleged brothel house at Bharani Colony organised by Tanzanian women at a flat under the limits of Neredmet Police Station.

The police arrested one Tanzanian woman and rescued two Tanzanian victims, while another organiser is at large.

The accused was identified as Ramadhani Usanga Sabia Bayoni (30) and Edwords (organiser), who is absconding. According to the officials, on credible information, on Friday the SOT Malkajgiri and Neredmet police organised a decoy operation on alleged brothel house at Neredmet.

It was alleged that it was being organised clandestinely by Tanzanian woman Ramadhani Usanga Sabia Bayoni along with her friend Edward. Both the accused were uploading obscene photographs of the victims on websites and tempting customers by forwarding the photographs and collecting Rs 10,000 from each punter.

Police registered a case under sections 370(A) IPC and Sec. 3, 4 and 5 of PITA Act, Sec.14 of Immigration Act and Sec. 7 of Foreigners Act. The arrested person was handed over to Neredmet Police. Police said efforts on to nab the absconding accused.
