Taxpayers told to make use of SVLDRS

Hyderabad: Chief Commissioner of Central Tax and Customs (Hyderabad Zone) V Seshagiri Rao on Tuesday urged the taxpayers to make use of SVLDRS (Sabka Vishwas Legacy Dispute Resolution Scheme) and settle legacy disputes and clear pending litigations.

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) launched the scheme in September, and it will be valid till the end of December this year.

Tax assesses can settle pending disputes and arrears during this period. They can also visit cbic-gst.gov.in and click on SVLDRS for details.

Participating in a workshop cum GST outreach programme with a special emphasis on SVLDRS and new GST returns organised here, the official requested the taxpayers to try the offline utility of new returns and provide feedback on the same.

The taxpayers have also been facilitated to file dummy new returns so as to experience the new system.

Further, the taxpayers were also asked to utilise the Feedback divas to be organised on December 7 by visiting the CBIC offices.

Additional Commissioners P Anand Kumar and Murali Krishna were also present.
