TBGKS failed to keep promises it made to SCCL workers: Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh in Kothagudem

Kothagudem: The recognised union of Singareni Collieries Company Limited, Telangana Boggu Ghani Karmika Sangham (TBGKS) has failed to fulfil the promises it made to workers, said Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMF) State leader K Mallaiah.

Speaking at a meeting held at Sathupally opencast mine in the district on Friday, he demanded the State government to repay Rs 10,000 crore to the company which it has taken earlier from the SCCL. Alleging that the Andhra Pradesh government has been planning to sell the Andhra Pradesh Heavy Missionary and electrical limited ( APHMEL) owned by SCCL, he demanded the Telangana government to stop the sale of SCCL properties in the neighbouring State.

Adding that contract workers were suffering from many issues in the company, Mallaiah demanded the company management to fill the vacancies with the permanent staff. He also stated that promises made by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao during the elections have not been implemented so far.

Singareni Coal Mine Karmika Sangham president Ch Surya Narayana and general secretary Madhava Naik, BMS leaders M Ram Murthy, S Chander Rao, M Prabhakar, A Venkateswarlu, B Vijender, A Prakash, VN Murthy, Krishna Reddy, TV Rao, V Ganesh, Praveen Kumar, Veeraiah, Krupachalam and Sambaiah and others attended the meeting.
