TDP flays TRS govt for engineering defections

Secunderabad: An extensive meeting of TDP workers of Secunderabad MP constituency was held here at BNR Gardens near Namala Gundu here on Wednesday.

Addressing the gathering, TDP district president MN Srinivas Rao, who was the chief guest, lashed out at the TRS government for its failure to fulfil its promises made to the people of the State.

He accused the TRS party of limiting itself to inaugurations and setting up plaques, instead of developing the State.

He said that TRS party has been instigating people against the Centre in view of ensuing elections to the Lok Sabha.

Srinivas Rao said that TRS MPs have not been able to complete a single project in the last five years.

Ridiculing TRS claim that it can pressurise the central government if it wins 16 MP seats, he said that it was yet another ploy to deceive people.

Criticising the TRS for encouraging defections from other parties, he said that it was unfortunate that the party has been engaging in cheap politics.

He advised the TRS party to follow ethical principles in politics, or else, it would be taught a bitter lesson in the upcoming elections.

Among those who participated in the meeting include Kuna Venkatesh Goud, Vanam Ramesh, MekalaSarangapani, Deepak Reddy, BN Reddy, Sripathi Satish, Anusha Ram, Shakeela Reddy, Balraj Goud, N Kishore, Bhaskar Mudhiraj, Jagadish, Sudesh, Samar, GV Krishna, Vijay and others.

Hyderabad LS constituency preparatory meeting

A meeting of TDP party in-charges of various Assembly segments in Hyderabad parliamentary constituency was held at the district party office here on Wednesday.

The meeting passed a resolution that the party would contest independently from the constituency without any partnerships and the party's cadre would strive for the victory of the party candidate decided by the party high command.

Vanam Ramesh, B Shyam Sunder, P Lakshman Yadav, Amjad Ali Khan, K Krishna Goud, N Nagesh, S Rajender Kumar, P Sathyanarayana, Samiyuddin Rafiq and others were present at the meeting.
