Teach moral values along with subjects: Prof KK Aggarwal
Karimnagar: National Board of Accreditation Chairman Prof KK Aggarwal on Thursday appealed all the professors of the university to teach moral values along with the subjects to the students.
After 11 years of establishment of Satavahana University, convocation was held for the first time under the leadership of in-charge Vice-Chancellor T Chiranjeevulu at V-Convention hall in Karimnagar. Attending as a chief guest at the programme, Prof KK Aggarwal advised the students to inculcate creative skills along with focussing on studies if they want to become successful in the severe competition in the present world. Universities will play a key role in the growth of the students in their life.
There are several people, who gained name and fame with their creative skills like Steve Jobs of Apple organisation, Leonardo Davina with the Monalisa painting, which was appreciated by the entire world are a few examples of creative skills. One can improve creative skills with by participating in the cultural activities, he said.
The Chairman said that the students must be aware of new things that appear every day. They must think by their own and must try to answer the questions that arise in their mind. It is happy to know the universities are working with the Telangana Academy for improving skill efficiency among the students, he added.
The Professor said that the education system is not following the rule of unity in diversity. Keeping in view of the students' future, professors must accumulate enormous knowledge to pass it on to the students so that they can reach to greater heights in their lives.
Later, National Board of Accreditation Chairman Prof KK Aggarwal, V-C T Chiranjeevulu and District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed handed over gold medals to 131 students and rank certificates to 151 students of various colleges under Satavahana University.
Choppadandi MLA S Ravi Shankar, Controller of Examinations T Bharath, Principal Dr A Manohar, professors, Assistant Professors, teaching and non-teaching staff were present along with others.
