Teacher thrashes Class 8 student

Tandur: A Class 8 student of the government school was allegedly beaten up by the teacher here on Friday. According to the boy's parents, there was a feud between the boy and a girl who was his classmate.

When the girl complained about the incident to the Telugu teacher Srinivas, he thrashed the boy without seeking any explanation. After finding bruises on boy's body, his parents enquired about the incident and questioned the headmaster. The HM assured that he would look into the matter and take the issue to the notice of the higher-ups.
