Update: 2019-05-02 23:54 IST

Nalgonda: Strongly reacting to the statement of Professor Kancha Ilaiah, the leaders of Intermediate Education Retired Teachers and Employees Association, MV Gona Reddy and A Rajendra Babu, said the merger of Board of Intermediate Education was not a solution.

Releasing a press statement here on Thursday, they said so far the Board has been functioning successfully and produced highly talented students, who were now well placed throughout the world. "Everybody knows that the present problem originated from the malfunctioning of software developed by Globarena Technologies. As far as the corporate educational institutions are concerned, their impact is there from KG to PG, not just at +2 level due to the liberal policies adopted by the government. Need of the hour is to control them with stringent norms and develop an in house team of computer experts in order to reduce the dependence on outsourcing agencies," they suggested.
