Teacher's MLC poll: Counting of votes today

Nalgonda: All set for counting of Nalgonda-Khammam- Warangal teachers' constituency elections in Nalgonda on Tuesday.

The election for teachers' constituency was conducted on March 22.

Of the total 20,888 voters, as many as 18,888 voters exercised their franchise in 12 districts of the constituency.

Ballot boxes were stored at strong rooms at the counting centre.

Counting of votes will be carried out at counting centre located at State warehouse corporation godowns located at Duppalpalli road in Nalgonda.

As per the official information, as many as 1,000 votes will be counted in each round in 14 tables.

Counting of votes will start from 8 am and winner will be declared on preferential vote.

The winner have to get one more vote with 50% polled votes, otherwise winner would be decided on second preference vote.
