Teachers should know students inabilities, cure them
Hanamkonda: Teachers are not employees but an agency. They should understand the students and diagnose them for inabilities and cure them, said Prof, K Vijaya Babu, HOD, Kakatiya University.
He participated in a programme and spoke on the topic 'A talk on the role of teachers' at Swami Vivekananda High School, Padmakshi Lane, Hanamkonda on Wednesday.
"When a student is developed, a society is developed, and nation is developed. Teaching should be a passion and not a profession. It's like cultivating a barren land into agricultural land. Good seeds should be used for good crop and for good health of the society. It protects the children from diseases and pests of evil. A teacher is always a learner. A teacher should remember that work is worship and that he/she should build pillars of the nation. A teacher should be the best to guide the students. A teacher should understand society and his role in the society," he said.
Prof K Vijaya Babu also said that teachers should always bear in mind that theirs is the most important role to change the world for better.
