Telangana: 2 killed in road accident in Mancherial

Two people were killed and several injured after a DCM van rammed into a stationary lorry here at Mancherial in the wee hours on Saturday.

The two persons inside the van succumbed to injuries and others sustained injuries. On a receipt of information, the police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to a hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was said to be hailing from Mantralayam in Kurnool district.

The incident occurred when the DCM carrying 33 people was heading to Mancherial to collect cotton. An investigation is underway.
