Telangana: 2 students kill self after being chided by parents in Chevella

Two students committed suicide in separate incidents after being chided by their parents in Chevella.

In the first case, Srishanth, a Class 10 student hanged himself from a ceiling fan in his home at Amanagallu of Aloor mandal after his parents chided him for not doing homework. He went home from school to have lunch and did not return. Meanwhile, Srishanth's mother who runs a shop near school went the home and found him hanging.

In another case, Venkatesh (16), a first-year intermediate student was depressed after his father scolded him for low attendance at college. He was found hanging from a tree in his village at Aloor mandal of Chevella.
