Telangana: 5 dead, 4 injured after lorry rams into auto in Suryapet

Five people were killed and four others injured after a lorry rammed into an auto on Sunday at Khammam crossroads near Kodad of Suryapet district.

The mishap took place when the victims were returning home after attending Sri Rama Navami celebrations in Tammera. The injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment.

The deceased were identified as Saidulu, Renuka, Lakshmaiah, Lakshmi, Suguna and Shailaja.

Meanwhile, Kodad MLA Bollam Mallaiah inspected the spot and inquired about the incident. The police registered a case and are probing into it.
