Telangana: 5 of family died in Karimnagar road accident

Five members of a family killed in a road accident in Karimnagar in the wee hours on Sunday. The incident occurred around 1 am near Kurikyal of Gangadhara mandal when a speeding lorry rammed into an auto-rickshaw coming in the opposite direction.

While four others died on the spot, another person was dead in the hospital. The deceased were identified as Mekala Narsaiah, his son Babu, brother Banaiah, brother son Sekhar and nephew Gaddan Anjaiah. All the residents of Kodimyal mandal.

It is learned that the family has gone to a hospital for the treatment of Babu who was recently injured in a bike accident. The accident took place when the family was returning home.

On the other hand, a person died and three others injured after a lorry collided with an auto near Mohangur of Shankarapatnam mandal on Sunday morning.
