Appreciable rise in night temperatures

Hyderabad: There was an appreciable rise in the night temperatures ranging from 2.1 to 4 degrees Celsius at a few places over Telangana during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Thursday, the IMD bulletin said.

They were markedly above normal by 5 degrees Celsius or more at a few places.

The rise is attributed to mainly low-level South-Easterlies/Easterlies prevailing over the State. According to the bulletin, the forecast during the next six days is partly cloudy sky with haze. The night temperatures are likely to be 20, 19, 20, 19, 18 and 18 respectively till November 24.

The bulletin stated that the lowest minimum temperature of 17.5 degrees Celsius was recorded in Medak.

The other temperatures recorded elsewhere in the State were: Bhadrachalam & Hakimpet 20.2 deg C each, Nalgonda 20.4, Dundigal 21.1, Adilabad 21.6, Hyderabad 21.7, Nizamabad 21.8, Mahbubnagar 22.2, Ramagundam 22.4, Hanamkonda 23, Khammam 23.6.
