Telangana assembly budget session begins

The budget session of Telangana Legislature began today with the governor Tamilisai Soundararajan's speech. Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, legislative council chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, ministers and MLAs appeared in the session.

After the governor's speech, the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) will hold a meeting to confirm the agenda of the Telangana legislature (assembly and council) sessions. The BAC will take a decision on the date of the budget presentation and extent of the session.
