Speaking to media, Bandi Sanjay said that they have called for state-wide protests to get their demands fulfilled. He also asked the government to compare the number of tests being done in Telangana and other states. "Although the doctors are ready to provide their services, they lacked the COVID-19 essential needs such as masks and PPE kits," he said.

Further, he also asked the government to release a white paper on the centre's support to the state. "The government also failed to conduct coronavirus tests. While the BJP-ruled states conducting lakhs of coronavirus tests, the Telangana government is failing to conduct the tests in thousands," he said.
