Telangana budget to be presented on March 8
The Telangana state budget will be presented in the assembly on March 8 by the finance minister T Harish Rao, confirmed the Business Advisory Committee (BAC). The BAC also chalked out the schedule for the conduct of legislative assembly and council sessions.
The assembly sessions will be held for 12 days i.e, until March 20. However, on March 9, 10 and 15 were declared as holidays. The BAC meeting was attended by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, ministers, MP Akbarudding Owaisi and CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka.
The budget session of Legislative assembly and council began today with the governor Tamilisai Sounderarajan addressing the joint session. On Saturday, there will be a discussion on the motion of thanks to the governor for her speech. It is also believed that the TRS party is likely to introduce bills in the assembly tomorrow.
