Hyderabad: Class X exams commence peacefully
Siddipet: Class Tenth examinations commenced on Thursday peacefully. Students arrived at the exam centers one hour eaelier, as the exam was to begin at 9:30 am. On the wake of Coronavirus scare, students were sent into the examination center one by one rather by groups. Additional collector Padmakar inspected examination centres in the district headquarters.
In Sangareddy and Medak district, flying squad and sitting squad teams conducted inspections under the supervision of Ramesh Kumar and Rajesh. A total of 47,705 students attended out of of 47,790 students across the district. A total of 250 examination centers have been set up across the district.
A total of 2855 invigilators were on duty throughout the old district. In the background of the corona, many students were seen wearing masks. Students were allowed to wash their hands before entering the exam hall.
Section 144 has been imposed near the examination centers. RTC specially operated buses to help students with transport problems. Students from the areas where bus facility was unavialbe, flocked in private vehicles.
As the examination is crucial in the students' career, parents and relatives in large number came to the exam centers and sent them to the exam hall, wishing all the best. The officials of the three districts have provided the students with all the facilities in the examination centers. Medical centers including staff at the examination centers were also set up with medicines and ORS packets.
