Telangana CM KCR: Farmers to get Rythu Bandhu aid in 10 days
Hyderabad: Despite facing financial constraints, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Monday announced the disbursement of financial aid under 'Rythu Bandhu' scheme to all farmers in the current Rabi season from December 27.
The benefit will be extended to poor farmers first. Within 10 days, all the beneficiaries will get the incentives in their respective bank accounts. At a high-level meeting, KCR instructed the officials concerned to ensure that every farmer in the State gets the assistance under the scheme.
The officials were asked to deposit the amount directly into the accounts of farmers.
He also instructed the officials from the finance department to release the required Rs 7,300 crore and the assistance should begin with farmers who have less holding of lands and then to the farmers having large extent of holding.
