Telangana Coronavirus cases cross 2,000- mark

Hyderabad: Telangana registered more than hundred cases (107) as well as six deaths in the last 24 hours and the total count also crossed two thousand mark. 49 people who were deported from Saudi Arabia tested positive. Another 19 migrants who came back from various states to Telangana also tested positive. Until Wednesday 5 pm, 39 positive cases were detected from people within the state.

The state health department had changed the format of the bulletin by removing the migrants and expats infections count from the total positives list leading to a confusion. According to it, till now the migrants, Saudi Arabia deportees and foreign evacuees returned tally stands at 297. The active cases stood at 714, while deaths so far rose to 63 and discharges figure stood at 1321.
