Patancheru: Finance Minister T Harish Rao on Monday lashed out against the BJP stating that it was indulging in cheap politics only for votes.

The Minister was speaking in an election meeting of the party for the ensuing GHMC elections in Patancheru on Monday. Harish Rao said that the BJP once had principles but now it has turned into a party which makes noise with lies. The BJP is trying to gain politically on the foundation of lies and Gobbles campaign. He asked the party leaders to counter the BJP leaders for their lies. He found fault with the BJP leaders promising a free corona vaccine to the people of Bihar. "Are the BJP leaders not in favour of giving corona vaccine to people of Telangana," asked Rao.

Rao alleged that the Congress and the BJP governments did nothing for Patancheru during the last 70 years. The residents of Patancheru could not get at least drinking water during the BJP rule, said Rao adding the TRS government provided water to the households with Rs 251 crore. "There was no need for the inverters, converters and generators after the TRS came into power. The government ensured people do not spend money on inverters by providing uninterrupted power," said Rao.

The TRS leader said that hundreds of youth were getting employment with the coming up of Industrial Park at Patancheru, Medical Devices Park at Sultanpur, IT Park at Osmannagar, LED Park in Shivanagar. During the regime of YS (YS Rajasekhara Reddy) Chandrababu (N Chandrababu Naidu) the lands of Patancheru were sold away and not even a single market was started, alleged Harish Rao adding TRS government brought market in 180 acres of land with an expenditure of Rs 10 crore.

Harish Rao alleged that the Congress party did nothing even after being in power and the BJP can't do anything even after winning. The Congress and BJP leaders were limited to their homes during the corona pandemic whereas the TRS leaders cared for the people affected with corona.
