Nayani Narasimha Reddy's wife passes away in Hyderabad

Telangana: Telangana Former home minister and TRS leader Nayani Narasimha Reddy's wife Nayani Ahalya Reddy passed away on Monday late evening at the Apollo Hospitals in Hyderabad four days after the death of her husband. She was 68.

According to Apollo Hospital doctors, Nayani's wife passed away due to multi-organ dysfunction syndrome. Ahalya Reddy is survived by a son and a daughter. She had received treatment for Covid in another hospital before shifting her to Apollo.

It was already known that Nayani Narasimha Reddy has breathed his last at a private hospital on October 22 where he admitted with health complications after testing positive for coronavirus.

A pall of gloom descended in Nayani's family with both Nayani and his wife passing away within a few days. Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and several ministers including Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Koppula Eshwar among others expressed condolences.
