Telangana: Four people test positive for coronavirus in Mulugu
Four people have tested positive for coronavirus in Mulugu district of Telangana which was in green zone earlier.
Among the four new cases, the parents of a youngster who was infected with coronavirus also tested positive. According to the district medical and health officer Appaiah, two hospital staff -- a ward boy and a nurse who attended the patient were also found to be infected with the virus.
On April 2, two from Eturunagaram and Pasra of Mulugu district were tested positive for coronavirus. The healthcare officials learned that the two had visited Markaz in New Delhi and held the tests on them though they were asymptomatic. However, the reports of the two people turned positive.
Meanwhile, the state on Tuesday reported 213 fresh cases taking the total number of infections in the state to 5406 and death toll to 191. And with the 261 patients getting discharged, the total number recoveries reached 3027.
