Telangana Government fiat on display of State emblem
Hyderabad: Taking serious view of various government agencies violating the State Emblem Act of India, the Union government has issued fresh instructions saying that the government agencies which are authorized to use the State Emblem of India for various purposes must depict the complete State Emblem with the motto "Satyamev Jayate" in Devanagari script, inscribed below the profile of Lion Capital and also ensure that no unauthorised use of the State Emblem of India is made on stationery, vehicles, etc.
In view of this, the state government has issued fresh guidelines on complete and clear display of the State Emblem of India.
Principal Secretary to Government (Political) Vikas Raj stated that all the government agencies which are using the State Emblem of India on their seals must ensure that the seals are replaced before they are worn out so that the impression of the seals on papers may be clear and precise.
The government has therefore asked all the departments to take suitable steps in this regard. Strict action should also be taken against officials concerned for incomplete display of the State Emblem of India.
