Telangana shops can open all days

Hyderabad: In a big relief to the business community, affected due to the lockdown, the Telangana government on Wednesday permitted all shops (except big malls) to open regularly in Hyderabad from Thursday.

However, the shops should be closed before 7 pm in view of the night curfew, which is still in force.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao took the decision to permit all shops to open on a regular basis after holding a meeting with the officials at Pragathi Bhavan.

Earlier, the shops were permitted to open on alternate days, which caused huge gathering of customers.
