Telangana Governor, CM pay floral tributes to Mahatma

Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao paying tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Bapu Ghat in Hyderabad on Wednesday

Hyderabad: Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Wednesday paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi to mark his 150th birth anniversary at Bapu Ghat near Langar House in the city. The Governor and Chief Minister also participated in the prayers of all religions at Bapu Ghat. Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav, Roads and Buildings Minister V Prashanth Reddy, Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy, Home Minister Mahmood Ali, Rajya Sabha MP J Santhosh Kumar and others also were present.

Deputy Speaker T Padma Rao Goud, Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy, Deputy Chairman N Vidyasagar Rao and MLAs and MLCs and officials also paid rich tributes to Gandhi at State Assembly.

Earlier, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy also visited the Ghat and paid tributes to father of the nation.
