Telangana govt. denies rumours of total lockdown in Hyderabad
Lockdown in Hyderabad: With the rumours of total shutdown in Hyderabad is doing rounds, state chief secretary Somesh Kumar clarified that the government is not planning to impose lockdown again. Even the ministers denied the rumours and said that there was no truth in the rumours.
The rumours of the complete shutdown have gone viral after an interview of Talasani Srinivas Yadav to a television channel who said the Chief Minister would decide on it in two or three days. However, the minister's office clarified that what he was said is not about lockdown but about the further measures being taken up by the government.
An announcement from the office said that the minister was mean to say the Chief Minister will decide about the further measures in two or three days in the view of rising coronavirus cases in the state. It further said that no lockdown will be imposed in the state, even if there is a chance, the government would make an announcement.
