Telangana Govt Hospital panel member wows to provide better facilities
Mahbubnagar: Mahbubnagar General Hospital Development Committee member Lalkota Laxmi Gangadhar has vowed to do all that is needed for the all round development of the district General Hospital on par with any corporate hospitals in the State.
Speaking at a felicitation programme organised by Nayini Mitra Mandali in the district, Lalkota Laxmi expressed her thanks to the Excise Minister Srinivas Goud for bestowing confidence in her to improve the facilities in the Government General Hospital of Mahbubnagar district.
"I am greatly thankful to Excise Minister, Srinivas Goud, for appointing me as a member of the Hospital Development Committee. This is a huge responsibility and a big opportunity for me to prove my ability. I shall do that that is necessary and will work committed to improve the healthcare sector in the district," she said.
"The Mahbubnagar district hospital which was confined to only a few treatment facilities until last year, after being converted into a teaching hospital, each and every department in the hospital has been renovated and equipped with most advanced medical equipment such as digital x-ray, dialysis machines and even set up an exclusive cancer ward which is not even available in big hospitals like Osmania in Hyderabad," said Lalkota Laxmi. Later, Nayini Mitra Mandali State convenor Ashivini Chandrasekhar along with others felicitated Lalkota Laxmi.
Laxmi thanked the Mandali Association members for honouring her and said that she will ensure the visiting patients in the hospital will get all kinds of facilities and make the hospital one of the leading hospitals on par with the corporate hospitals.
