Telangana HC expresses dissatisfaction over low Coronavirus tests

The Telangana High Court on Thursday expressed dissafisaction over low COVID-19 tests in the state. "It seemed the government is intensifying the tests only when a case is being heard in the case," the court said.

Hearing the petition filed against the low COVID-19 tests, the court directed the government to conduct at least 50,000 tests per day and eventually increase it to one lakh. The court vented out anger for not properly implementing COVID-19 norms such as using mask and physical distancing as there are chances of COVID-19 second wave.
