The bench comprising of Chief Justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan and Justice B Vijaysen Reddy said that the government should be cautious about the exams as it is concerned the lives of children.

It said that the government should understand the flexibility of those students whose parents are not willing to send their students to write exams in the view of the prevailing coronavirus situation. The court also stressed that the students who miss the exams now should be allowed to take the exam which is likely to be held in August or September. And their marks and memos should show them as regular students.

"If the government is not ready to provide such flexibility, then the exams may be stayed," the bench said. The matter will be heard today.
