Telangana: Helicopter services for Vemulawada temple for Shivaratri
The Telangana government has deployed special helicopter services to Vemulawada temple to visit Raja Rajeswara Swamy temple on the eve of Maha Shivaratri. The helicopter services will be available for four days.
Telangana tourism launched the helicopter services last year for the first time providing an opportunity for the people to travel to Vemulawada from Hyderabad. Minister Allola Srinivas Reddy asked the devotees to wear masks and maintain social distancing while going for darshan.
The officials arranged a helipad near the temple lake and introduced four packages. The packages include Hyderabad to Vemulawada (round trip) and will be charged at Rs 25,000 per person. Also, the trip is available for the people travelling with at least six persons.
Other packages include aerial view of Mid-manair from Nampally to Mid-Manair which will be charged at Rs 3,000. The helicopter services will be available on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
