Telangana High court says aye to conduct SSC examinations from June 8

Hyderabad: Telangana High Court gave permission to the government to conduct SSC examinations from June 8. The High Court took up the hearing through video conference. Earlier, the government gave an affidavit to the court about conducting SSC examinations informing that the government would take all steps at examination centres to maintain social distancing.

The court asked the government to have a review on June 3 and submit a report on COVID-19 conditions to the court on June 4. However, the court also gave permission to the government to take up examinations from June 8. The court asked the government to ensure there is two days gap between an exam. The court suggested government to set up helpline for the students.

The SSC examinations started on March 19 have completed only three papers before lockdown was announced.
