Hyderabad: The Dundigal police booked a case of criminal trespass and criminal intimidation against Telangana Labour Minister Ch Malla Reddy, his son Bhadra Reddy, and others.

According to police, they received a complaint from a woman, P. Shyamala Devi, wherein she stated that the minister and his son along with others have grabbed her 20 guntas of land and are trying to grab more.

The complainant in her complaint stated that her mother Ponnaboina Padmavathi is the pattadar of the 2.13 acres land in Suraram village and the land is located between two hospitals owned by the minister. She further stated that he was threatening her to sell the land to him, but when she refused the proposal, the Minister's men occupied 20 guntas of land and constructed a compound wall, said the police.

However, when the woman approached an advocate to help her, the advocate was also allegedly threatened by the men of Malla Reddy and he rather than helping her took her signatures on a document and handed it over to the minister who then used the signatures and sold it to one of his henchman, said the police based on the complaint filed by the woman.

According to the police, a case was registered under criminal trespass and criminal intimidation and the matter is being investigated.
