Telangana Lok Sabha elections 2019: Revanth Reddy to contest from Malkajgiri

Congress working president Revanth Reddy who was defeated in the hands of TRS leader P Narender Reddy in assembly elections is now all set to contest from Malkajgiri parliament constituency in Lok Sabha elections. However, the Congress party also decided the same. The party is also planning to field Mulugu MLA Seethakka from Mahabubabad in the LS elections.

In 2014 elections, Revanth aspired for the Malkajgiri parliament ticket from TDP was denied and the party allocated the ticket to Mallareddy. The Congress leader is now on a winning spirit as the constituency is one of the biggest in the country. Kukatpally, Quthbullapur, Uppal, Medchal, LB Nagar, Secunderabad, Cantonment which has large of settler from Andhra Pradesh comes under Malkajgiri parliament constituency.
