Telangana: Man gets 10-year jail in rape of minor girl in Adilabad

A man was sentenced to 10-year jail term for raping a minor girl by the first additional sessions court, Adilabad district. Justice Srinivas Rao also imposed Rs 1000 fine convicting the accused, Bansode Lakshman in the case.
In another case, the fourth additional sessions court judge Justice Y Padma sentenced the accused, Baske Anand Raju to one-year imprisonment and Rs 2000 fine.
Anand Raju, a native of Govindarajula Gutta of Warangal Urban district was arrested for raping a Class 10 girl. The police filed a charge sheet and produced the accused in the court which convicted him in the case.
