New IT tower to come up in Siddipet

The Telangana government on Sunday passed the orders sanctioning IT tower to Siddipet district in Telangana. The IT tower will be constructed in 60 acres at Duddeda village of Kondapaka mandal at a cost of Rs 45 crore.

The state Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will lay a foundation stone for the construction of IT tower in Siddipet district on December 10. Software firms including Infosys with a sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the behalf of the Chief Minister.

Siddipet MLA and minister Harish Rao elated with the government's move. He said that the youth will be able to get more employment opportunities with the IT tower in the district and also thanked the IT minister KT Rama Rao.

On Saturday, minister KT Rama Rao said that foundation will be laid for IT hub at Kompally in Medchal-Malkajgiri district besides inaugurating the IT tower in Khammam tomorrow. He directed the officials to finish the land acquisition process for the IT tower in Kompally at the earliest.
