Telangana: No holiday for registration department on Dec 12, 13

The Telangana government has passed the orders cancelling the holidays for registration department today and tomorrow in the wake of registrations of non-agriculture property registrations from Monday.

The orders said that all the staff of the registration department including registrars, sub-registrars and staff to be available to check the registration process today and tomorrow in order to avoid errors.

Until 7 pm on Friday, as many as 37 slots were booked across the state for the land registrations. State chief secretary Somesh Kumar began the registration process on Friday at BRK Bhavan and said that the registrations will be held in the old method through 'registration.telangana.gov.in'. He said that registration and mutation of the non-agricultural property will be held at the same time similar to the registration of agriculture property.

He said that the slot will be available for every 15 minutes i.e 24 slots a day.

The CS made it clear that Property Tax Identification Number (PTIN) or Property Identification Number or assessment number for the non-agriculture property registration and said the numbers have already been allotted through panchayats, municipalities and corporations. He said that PTIN can be provided in two days by registering through the website, he said.
