Telangana records over 1,800 coronavirus cases again

Hyderabad: With 1,850 new cases of Covid-19 recorded on Saturday, the Telangana witnessed over 1,800 cases for the second consecutive day.

The GHMC area alone recorded 1,572 cases, with total number of positive cases touching 22,312. The number of tests conducted were 6,427, while 1,342 were discharged and 5 succumbed to the virus in 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 288.

Among the fresh cases, GHMC reported 1,572, Rangareddy 92, Medchal 53, Karimnagar 18, Nizamabad 17, Warangal (Urban)-31, Nalgonda 10, witnessed cases in double digits.
