Telangana reports 985 new coronavirus cases, 7 deaths in past 24 hours

Hyderabad: Telangana reported 985 fresh Coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours pushing the overall Covid-19 tally to 12,349. Also, seven deaths were reported taking the total death count to 237.

GHMC limits contributed 774 cases among the fresh cases with Ranga Reddy reporting 86 and Medchal 53 cases respectively. 4,374 samples were tested out of which 985 were found to be positive.

The discharged figure is at 4,766 while the active cases are 7, 436. In all, 75,308 samples were tested in Telangana so far.
