Telangana RTC JAC apologizes public for causing inconvenience during strike
The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of TSRTC extended apologies to the public for causing inconvenience to them during the 52-day strike.
The JAC convenor Ashwathama Reddy welcomed the Chief Minister's decision of taking back the employees to work and also thanked all that parties that extended support to their strike. He also condemned cancelling the relief duties of the union leaders and asked the Labour commissioner to respond over it.
"The unions not only look into the worker's issues but also join the duties if necessary," Reddy said demanding elections to RTC unions. He also asked the government to put up a referendum and ask the workers if there is a need of unions.
Ashwathama also extended condolences to the bereaved families and termed the workers' death as unfortunate during the strike.
