Telangana sees dip in temperature, cold waves to increase ahead
There has been a sudden change in the weather in Telangana, with cold winds blowing across the Telangana state and overnight temperatures dipping below normal in many districts. The minimum temperatures have decreased suddenly, and the meteorological department predicted that temperatures are likely to drop further in the next month.
Despite the winter has arrived a bit late in Telangana this time, but the severity of cold is gradually increasing in many areas. The weather department officials expect the intensity of cold to increase significantly in the coming days.
Going by the temperatures, Hanmakonda, recorded a minimum temperature of 19.5 degrees, 2.7 degrees below normal. In Adilabad, the temperature dropped by 1.8 degrees to 17.2 degrees Celsius.
Along with Hanmakonda, the temperatures also decreased in Medak and Ramagundam. However, temperatures in Hyderabad and Bhadrachalam were slightly higher than normal. It is noteworthy that the maximum temperature recorded in Khammam was 3.3 degrees higher. Meanwhile, the severity of cold is gradually increasing in many agency villages of the state.
