Spell government policy on PRC & IR: BJP to CM KCR
Hyderabad: Telangana BJP on Friday demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announce the government policy and timelines for the implementation of PRC, IR, promotions and transfer and other issues bothering the employees and teachers.
Addressing the media here on Friday, State BJP chief, welcoming senior journalist Sangappa from Narayankhed into the partyfold, took exception to the silence of the leaders of the employees union. "We respect the leaders and the employee unions. But, it is disappointing to see that they have not raised the issues of the PRC, IR, the routinely held transfers, promotions etc."
As the leaders are failing to show courage to take up the cause of the employees and teachers, the BJP is extending its support and raise the issues. He asked the CM to immediately clarify by announcing his government policy on all the issues of employees and teachers. "If the Chief Minister fails to do so, then, the employees associations should react strongly," he demanded.
However, he appreciated the State government stand on implementing the centrally sponsored Ayushman Bharat health insurance in the State, after a delay of two years. "He found fault with the scheme earlier, but, took a U-turn and could see the merits in its implementation. But, many poor in Telangana suffered during the COVID in the absence of the scheme," he pointed out. He asked the TRS chief to apologize for causing troubles to the poor and ensure he would not repeat the same again.
